On April 17, 2026, Ross Sheppard High School hosted the Verbathon for French Immersion elementary schools.
Verbathon is an educational program that makes learning grammar fun, effective, and engaging. Through a series of sports-style events, students learn to conjugate verbs, construct sentences, and apply these skills in both oral and written work.
Dunluce School participated and performed exceptionally well. One of the Grade 6 teams from Dunluce won the gold medal in their category. This achievement is especially meaningful to me because my daughter was a member of that winning team. I am incredibly proud of her and so happy that she had such a fun and rewarding experience.
CTV News covered the Verbathon in a short segment, which you can watch below.
